Health and Safety Manager Opportunity

A leading food manufacturing organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's health and safety management system, including:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Taking ownership of the health and safety improvement plan.
  • Establishing relationships with external stakeholders and working closely with internal customers.
  • Involvement in departmental continuous improvement systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. A Certified Health and Safety professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.

This role offers a salary of £48,000 - £58,000 depending on experience, great benefits, and the business is commutable from Malton, Guisborough, Pickering, Scarborough, Stokesley and surrounding areas.
