SEND English Curriculum Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled English Teacher to join our team at The Levels School. As a specialist educational institution, we cater to the needs of students with complex learning differences, including speech, language, and communication difficulties.
The successful candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status, substantial experience teaching English, and knowledge of SEND, specifically dyslexia and co-occurring difficulties. They will also be able to demonstrate a range of multi-sensory teaching techniques and be prepared to go above and beyond for the students we support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the English Curriculum up to GCSE, adapted for students with SpLD and other complex learning needs
- Working collaboratively with the English Lead and SENDCO to develop the English and Literacy program
- Building relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote student success
- Creating a supportive learning environment that caters to individual student needs
