About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a SEND team in a mainstream secondary school, adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of students with learning difficulties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Learning Support Assistants to provide daily support to students
  • Ensuring students can participate and progress in their education
  • Supporting students with a range of SEND needs to develop their academic skills, confidence, and independence
  • Collaborating with senior staff to meet student needs and statutory requirements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status. An enhanced Child-Only DBS check is required, along with UK residency or a full UK visa. A willingness to complete a Disclosure Barring Service check is also necessary.

Estimated Salary Range

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
