Occupational Therapist Leadership Role

About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. As the Lead Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing and leading the Occupational Therapy Service across both CAMHS and Adult services.
You will work closely with the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team to develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities/therapies under their strategic direction.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post-qualifying experience, substantial experience of working within Mental Health, preferably with both CAMHS and Adult experience, and substantial experience of inpatient work.
Your Responsibilities- Receiving and responding promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
- Working to develop living skills, rehabilitation, and educational opportunities/therapies under the strategic direction of the Therapy Lead and other members of the Senior Management Team.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient management of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapist Assistants, and students.
- Planning and implementing individual and group interventions collaboratively with Service users.
- An annual salary of up to £48,000 - £52,000 depending on experience.
