Job Summary:

Elysium Healthcare Limited seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill the position of Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Practitioner. This role offers a unique opportunity for leadership and professional growth within our organization.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy service across Yorkshire and the Midlands region. As a seasoned Occupational Therapist, you will be expected to provide expert advice and guidance to the regional team regarding service development and workforce planning.

You will oversee the line management, professional leadership, and development of the Occupational Therapy Service, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to our clients. Your experience in the NHS and/or private sector will be valuable assets in this role.

A key responsibility will be to establish, monitor, and evaluate an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team, as well as apply processes to manage performance. You will also support recruitment efforts and identify training needs for Occupational therapy staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Occupational Therapy service across Yorkshire and the Midlands region
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on service development and workforce planning
  • Oversee line management, professional leadership, and development of the Occupational Therapy Service
  • Establish and monitor an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team
  • Support recruitment efforts and identify training needs for Occupational therapy staff
Requirements:
  • Qualification and registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • At least 6 years of post-qualifying experience
  • Registration with the HCPC and ongoing CPD requirements
  • Relevant sensory practitioner qualifications
  • A valid UK driving license
