Facilities Management Role in London

Acme Appointments is seeking a skilled Facilities Management Assistant to join their team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercially managed buildings, working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure efficient and proactive management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the shared inbox, responding to reactive maintenance issues and general correspondence from tenants and contractors in a timely manner.
  • Raise work orders for reactive maintenance and monitor completion, ensuring clear communication with tenants.
  • Update tenant details by liaising with front-of-house staff in manned buildings.
  • Plan, collate, and review LOLER inspection reports, forwarding them to relevant lift maintenance providers and keeping in-house Property/Facilities Managers informed.
  • Coordinate annual fire drills for managed buildings, working with designated contractors and tenants.
  • Review evacuation reports for mixed-use buildings, addressing issues raised and assisting with emergency response planning.
  • Review fire and H&S risk assessments, obtaining quotes and liaising with Property/Facilities Managers before instructing and completing on the system.
  • Oversight of facilities upkeep, including arrangement of annual maintenance and inspections.
