About the Role

As a Technical Account Manager at Pareto Facilities Management, you will be responsible for managing multiple accounts, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.


Key Responsibilities

  • PPM Tasks: Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time, in line with specifications, and any remedials are accurately reported.
  • Reactive Tasks: Ensure all reactive tasks are completed within KPI time frames and to a high standard of repair.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all statutory related paperwork is completed accurately and is filed appropriately.
  • Minor Works: Develop and project manage minor works.
  • Communication: Provide timely, consistent, and exemplary communication.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure the adoption of Pareto policies and procedures throughout the area of responsibility.
  • Training: Deliver all necessary toolbox talk training, as well as identify other training requirements within direct reports.
  • Safe Working Practices: Ensure the adoption of safe working practices during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Systems of Work: Manage the safe systems of work for the area of responsibility.
  • Client Interface: Interface with client teams in the course of reactive and PPM maintenance works.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Undertake sub-contractor management in line with the above.
  • Line Management: Line manage maintenance engineers in the area of responsibility.
  • Resource Organisation: Ensure resources are efficiently and effectively organised.
  • Workforce Conduct: Ensure satisfactory time keeping and conduct of workforce.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure that the service meets and exceeds service level agreements. Continually review service provision to identify areas of improvement.
  • Additional Duties: Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.
  • Business Development: Operate as part of the wider Pareto Management Team in supporting business and organisational development.
    Qualifications and Experience

Essential qualifications and experience include:



  • Recognised Qualifications: Recognised, relevant mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Driving Licence: A driving licence.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH: IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in a similar position, including managing a team of engineers, working in a team environment, and possessing good interpersonal skills.
  • Key Skills: Key skills include customer focus, thoroughness, methodical approach, attention to detail, ability to understand, interpret, and communicate data effectively, remaining calm under pressure, and being able to work independently and as part of a team.
