About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Risk Manager to join our IT Governance team on a part-time basis. As our subject matter expert, you will partner with stakeholders across our organization to be the first point of contact for all insurance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and provide guidance on all insurance-related matters
  • Support the claims management process
  • Manage and assist with the day-to-day broker/insurer relationship
  • Monitor and review escrow accounts managed and maintained by the insurance broker
  • Ensure all insurance policies and relevant documentation is maintained
  • Prepare insurance renewal-related documents
  • Assist in the facilitation of insurance-related training across the business
  • Support the preparation and drafting of papers and other materials as required

Requirements

  • Highly motivated insurance professional with knowledge of public liability claims practices, data analysis, and reporting
  • Familiarity with insurance provisions in property-related contracts and the ability to advise on these
  • Personable and consultative, able to influence and collaborate with all groups of people
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience within the property industry would be advantageous, but not essential
