Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Dietician to join our team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our forensic mental health service, you will play a vital role in promoting nutrition and wellbeing across our in-patient wards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Dietetics and extensive experience working in mental health settings. You will be passionate about educating service users and staff about nutrition and its impact on physical health and wellbeing.

You will work closely with our forensic physical health team and leadership teams to develop and implement effective dietetic services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. This includes providing nutritional training and education to both staff and service users.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant core professional qualification in Dietetics (degree or postgraduate)
  • Dietetics experience in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust offers a range of benefits, including 27-33 days annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to a range of exclusive discounts and payment schemes.
