Job Description

We are seeking a talented Clinical Lead Dietician to join our team at the Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our forensic mental health service, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective dietetic services across our in-patient wards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a degree or postgraduate qualification in Dietetics and extensive experience working in mental health settings. You will be passionate about promoting nutrition and wellbeing across our service, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will work closely with our forensic physical health team and leadership teams to develop and implement effective dietetic services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. This includes providing nutritional training and education to both staff and service users.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant core professional qualification in Dietetics (degree or postgraduate)
  • Dietetics experience in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
