Director of Supply Chain and Logistics

The Global Search Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Supply Chain and Logistics to join our team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to drive business growth and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  2. Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased productivity.
  3. Logistics and Transportation: Oversee the management of global logistics and transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
  4. Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  5. Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and marketing teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  7. Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving supply chain efficiency.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  4. Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve business objectives.
