Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end logistics solutions, developing high-performing teams, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement effective logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize profitability, customer service levels, and overall productivity.
- Team Leadership: Build, empower, and lead a high-performing team of leaders to achieve business objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to balance and optimize profitability, customer service levels, Health and Safety compliance, and overall productivity.
- Talent Development: Understand personal development requirements for key roles and people to develop internal talent and build employee engagement.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance metrics to measure devanning performance, put-away times, picking times, dispatch times, delivery times, and cost efficiency.
- Communication: Communicate highly analytical and commercial information in an easy-to-understand manner to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Analyze risk and develop mitigation strategies for the business.
- Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
