Director of Supply Chain and Logistics

The Global Search Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Supply Chain and Logistics to join our team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to drive business growth and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased productivity.
- Logistics and Transportation: Oversee the management of global logistics and transportation operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.
- Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and marketing teams, as well as external partners and suppliers.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the fashion industry and its supply chain challenges.
