About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Child Mental Health. The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Swansea Bay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective CAMHS services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of service users
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of CAMHS services

Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • Experience of working in CAMHS and ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and service users
