About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychiatric care to children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of CAMHS services, including service improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, including trainees and junior doctors
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities
