About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary CAMHS team to deliver high-quality care
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of CAMHS policies and procedures
  • Participate in education and training activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the CAMHS team

Requirements
  • Registration with the GMC as a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Eligibility for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • Experience of working in a CAMHS setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
