About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Child Mental Health. The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective care
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatments and interventions
  • Contribute to the development of CAMHS services and policies
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior staff

Requirements
  • Registered with the GMC
  • Licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
