About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychologists, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health conditions
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and the community on mental health issues affecting children and adolescents
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services

Requirements
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register with the GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
