About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child and adolescent mental health.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.

Requirements
  • Registration with the GMC as a specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or eligibility for CCT within 6 months of date of interview.
  • Experience in child and adolescent mental health, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
