Research Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Research and Development team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of research projects involving patients, families, and carers at our trust. This will involve the safe conduct of research involving both NIHR portfolio studies and industry-funded research within the Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with consultants, other medical staff, and health professionals to ensure satisfactory communication with patients and seamless delivery of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical, research, and other records using the Trust's documentation or clinical trial site files and data collection instruments.
- Ensure all trial data are collected within specified time constraints.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional clinical knowledge of nursing patients or patient care, acquired through at least 2 years post-registration experience.
- Understanding of research-based practice.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
