Product Implementation Finance Lead

We're looking for an experienced Product Implementation Finance Lead to join our growing Finance Implementation Team in London or Tallinn. This role will give you the opportunity to have a significant impact on Wise's mission by ensuring the efficient, timely, and accurate handling of finance impacts related to product expansion.

As a Product Implementation Finance Lead, you will ensure that the finance impacts of Wise's product expansion are considered, built, recorded, controlled, reported, and explained in an efficient, timely, and accurate way.

You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, analysts, and other finance stakeholders to integrate product changes into finance ledgers, reducing current risks and gaps impacting financials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building an understanding of how new and existing products translate into compliant financials
  • Leading the team to integrate product changes into finance ledgers
  • Sharing knowledge on finance requirements and collaborating with product teams to reduce current risks and gaps impacting financials
  • Leading retros on large finance implementations or failures and ensuring learnings are used to improve future expansions
  • Owning and tracking quarterly plans and prioritizations for the team, setting team KPIs, and facilitating efficient processes for the team to cover all areas of implementation
  • Hiring, developing, and supporting our finance implementation team of five implementation managers
  • Bringing external ideas and best practices into the team through leadership

Key qualifications include:

  • Excellent ability to create clarity with stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with product implementation and delivering features, with a proven track record of getting things done
  • Ability to influence without authority with stakeholders to ensure function objectives and KPIs are met
  • Finance systems experience and familiarity with core principles of finance
  • Seasoned leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading teams and empowering cross-functional teams with a long-term vision and strategy
