Cleo is a pioneer in the financial technology space, on a mission to revolutionize the way people interact with their finances. We're looking for a highly skilled Strategic Product Manager - Consumer Financial Products to join our team and help drive innovation and growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

This role requires a strong understanding of consumer financial products and the ability to lead the development of new concepts from ideation to launch. You will work closely with our cross-functional squad to identify opportunities, validate key assumptions, and design and build minimum viable products (MVPs) that can scale if successful.

  1. Collaborate with your team to generate concepts that resonate with our target audience,
  2. Understand the key financial assumptions we need to test and validate to ensure that our products are significantly revenue additive at scale
  3. Decide on scope and trade-offs to get MVPs out to users for the most promising concepts and ensure success criteria are established and evaluated

As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in helping us explore and serve new user segments. Your ability to think creatively and drive innovation will be crucial in shaping the future of our products.

Required Skills and Experience
  1. Have early stage (0-1) product experience building consumer financial products, at a start-up or scale-up, and enjoy being hands on with a cross functional team of analysts, designers, and engineers.
  2. Able to say "no" more than you say "yes" to keep the squads focused on the most impactful priorities, but also able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and get alignment
  3. Work collaboratively with your product squad and involve them in strategy and decision-making
  4. Bring creativity into how we approach financial products. We're radically changing how people interact with and feel about their finances. This means thinking about problems in a different way, and we encourage PMs from all backgrounds to apply.
  5. Bring energy and drive to ensure your product is successful. People would describe you as a force of nature who cares about their team.
