Metro Bank Plc is seeking an experienced collections specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing arrears cases efficiently, communicating with customers, and escalating potential shortfalls to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • You will collect arrears cases promptly, adhering to SLAs and communicating verbally and in writing with customers.
  • When necessary, you will reschedule customer agreements with credit approval.
  • You will work closely with the business to identify and address potential shortfalls.

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a discretionary annual bonus, generous holiday allowance, attractive pension scheme, healthcare, life assurance, colleague discounts, and opportunities for career progression and hybrid working.

Requirements:

  • You must have at least 1 year's experience in collections and arrears management.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day collections processes from pre-arrears to resolution is required.
  • Previous experience in asset finance, documentation, and associated risks is beneficial.
  • Understanding of job risks and their implications for Metro Bank and stakeholders is essential.
