Job Overview: i-Jobs is looking for a skilled Debt Management and Collections Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our debt recovery department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of accounts recovering debts from former tenants, TA clients, non-residential lettings, and sundry debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance, advice, and training to staff members as required.
  2. Pursue the recovery of debts due by agreed procedures.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries and negotiate appropriate repayment arrangements.
  4. Work with external partner debt collection agencies, ensuring prompt referral and ongoing liaison, including Attachment of Earnings.
  5. Manage direct debits to facilitate efficient payment processing.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year in Debt Management/Recovery.
  • Experience in a Local Government Environment or similar.
  • A working knowledge of CIVICA Financials.
  • Accounts receivable experience within a large multi-functional organization.
  • Experience dealing with Debt Recovery Agents/Solicitors.

Estimated Salary: £19.53 per hour (PAYE) based on 19.5 hours per week at KT10 9SD location.
