Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a business area quality management team to achieve quality objectives.
  • Support the Head of Quality, Head of Manufacturing Engineering, and Business Area leadership in identifying sector and program risks, threats, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement Project Assurance Plans to align project assurance activities with risk, opportunity, and improvement.
  • Recognized as an expert in quality, operations, and leadership principles.
  • People management and leadership skills, including effective performance and change management.
  • Experience in maturity review and assessing life cycle deliverables.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of all phases of the product life cycle and associated processes.
  • NPI/MRL quality experience and expertise in influencing and negotiating with others.
  • Communicate quality at a leadership level in a non-technical influencing way.
  • Evidence of leadership of capability and process development within quality engineering.
  • Ability to partner effectively with operations, project teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Success in mentoring and coaching to grow Quality excellence within the business.
  • Experienced in reducing TQNQ and implementing a root cause and corrective action culture.
