Job Title: Senior Mental Health Support Team Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mental Health Support Team Senior Practitioner to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people within educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of mental health initiatives within schools, aligning with local and national policies.
  • Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and families, focusing on low to moderate mental health issues, using approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other evidence-based practices.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for school staff, parents, and other stakeholders on mental health awareness and strategies to support students' well-being.
  • Act as a key point of contact between schools, health services, and external agencies, providing expert advice on mental health issues and facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and services, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
