About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at the Psychiatric Clinical Decisions Unit (PCDU) and Health Based Place of Safety (HBPoS). As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing expert clinical advice and support to our team, as well as providing leadership and guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the care needs of service users and develop and implement plans of care that are tailored to their individual needs.
  • Provide skilled clinical supervision to junior staff and learners, and support their professional development.
  • Lead the implementation of change to develop practice and improve service delivery, and contribute to the ongoing development of professional practice within the team.
  • Facilitate the use of local networks to inform the monitoring of practice and service delivery, and contribute to the formulation of policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
