Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Brandon Trust in Truro. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live an active and meaningful life, promoting independence, and supporting them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
Our team works collaboratively to provide a 24/7 service, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts. You will be responsible for developing daily living skills, supporting individuals to access their communities, and contributing to the development and implementation of care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Empower individuals to live the lives they want to lead
- Develop daily living skills
- Support individuals to access their communities for socialization, employment, training, or friendships
- Contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans
- Communicate effectively and professionally with individuals, their family members, and external professionals
- Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
- Good communication skills
- Positive and patient approach
- Resilience and respect for people's differences
- Ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 to £12.54 Per Hour)
- Full training to gain the nationally recognized Care Certificate
