About the Role
VGC is a leading contractor in the railway industry, and we are seeking a skilled Sub Agent to join our team in Northumberland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of railway construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans to meet set objectives
- Site Management: Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and to minimize environmental impact
- Team Leadership: Manage site staff and subcontractors to allocate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project progress to stakeholders, including contractors, local authorities, and the public

Requirements
To be considered, candidates must possess:
- Previous experience in rail or station management
- A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- A valid CSCS card
- The ability to create and explain accurate plans and drawings
