We are currently recruiting for a Court Usher to work within the Legal Sector. This role involves providing essential support in the running of courts during hearings. The client offers an excellent hourly rate of £11.44. To be eligible, candidates must have a valid enhanced DBS check.

This is a fully on-site position at two locations: Mid & South East Northumberland Magistrates and North Tyneside Magistrates. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the creation of accurate court log reports
  • Supporting the supervision of vulnerable adults and children during court proceedings
  • Actioning tasks independently based on hearing outcomes
  • Liaising with various stakeholders including legal advisors, judiciary, and public members
An existing transferable DBS on the update service would be beneficial for this role.
