Job Title HR Manager
Permanent Full time: 40 hours per week
Hybrid Working: Mondays to Thursdays – office based; Fridays – Work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues and the Head of HR UK to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, professional, approachable, and efficient HR service aligns with the Department's requirements.
- Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with all legal and company regulations.
- Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues.
- Support Line Manager and inform Human Resources management of issues related to UK employee relations.
- Process details relating to starters and leavers, contractual amendments, bonuses, change of personal details, annual leave, sickness, etc.
- Assisting with the recruitment process, coordinating and conducting applicant initial screens, reference checks, background checks, RTW checks, and share code number verification.
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with UK law and company policies and standards.
- Monitor and assist UK leadership team with employee's probation and performance reviews.
- Support the Head of HR UK with any 'ad hoc' HR projects as when required.
- Support the Head of HR UK in maintaining accurate employee records, attendance management and HR databases
- Provide high-quality customer service to all staff queries
Requirements:
- Qualified CIPD Level 3 Foundation minimum (CIPD Level 5 preferred).
- 3 years of HR experience within a similar position, including knowledge of employment legislation.
- Comfortable working alone, with the ability to performing in a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise important projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
