Event Coordinator

The Meeting and Events Coordinator position at Sodexo offers an exciting opportunity to enhance comfort and convenience for our clients. As a member of our vibrant corporate site in Cambridge, you will be the friendly face of our team, providing a helping hand to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of meetings, conferences, and events
- Work closely with internal teams to understand event objectives and requirements
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistical plans
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services
- Manage event registration processes and attendee communications
- Oversee onsite event execution, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting
- Monitor and evaluate event performance, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of event expenses and budget allocations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and memorable experiences for attendees
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
