About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including catering, cleaning, and portering services.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that facilities services are delivered to a high standard.
• Organize and manage the rotas of staff to ensure adequate cover for facilities tasks.
• Supervise and allocate staff to provide facilities functions in locality sites.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of food, consumables, and linen to ensure an adequate supply is available.
• Plan and lead the deep clean programme for inpatient ward areas and sites with NHS operating theatres to ensure compliance with Infection Control and Estates guidance.
• Prioritize workload and provide a proactive service to the locality to ensure high standards are met.
• Provide training to staff in all areas of facilities tasks, manage performance, and ensure staff are released to attend or take part in mandatory training.
• Support the Management team in staff development, performance reviews, and attendance management.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in supervising staff. They will also have knowledge of Health & Safety and food service experience.
