Substance Misuse Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Harm Reduction Lead. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in the development and delivery of our harm reduction services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support, information, and advice to individuals to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm
- Lead the harm reduction service alongside an experienced team of recovery workers
- Deliver needle exchange provision internally and externally through a mobile needle exchange
- Work with clients to develop and implement harm reduction plans
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in health and social care, criminal justice, or a relevant setting
- NVQ 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Experience working with substance misuse clients and a passion for harm reduction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
