Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Managing Editor to join our team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, timely content for our digital and print programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce editorial content via our digital and print programmes, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
  • Oversee the timely production of daily high-quality editorial digital content, working closely with our project team to meet deadlines.
  • Uphold editorial standards and house style across our account, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all content.
  • Subs and proofreads content as necessary, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Manage a team of in-house production staff and sub-editors, as well as a network of freelancers, to produce print and digital content.
  • Support the Editor-in-Chief in running daily content meetings and taking decisions on the organisation/prioritisation of content.
  • Stay up to date with the latest platforms, production techniques, and technologies required to complete the role.
  • Support the team with additional projects that require their expertise, contributing to the growth and success of our agency.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of the accountancy and surveying professions, with a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Deep experience developing and publishing editorial content in print and digitally, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple multi-channel editorial projects, ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
