About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated High Intensity Psychological Therapist to join our team at Mental Health Matters. The post holder will provide high-intensity interventions, predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

The successful candidate will work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, utilizing interpreters when necessary, and will be committed to equal opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-intensity interventions, including CBT, to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, utilizing interpreters when necessary.
  • Be committed to equal opportunities and provide a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
  • Hold a Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, typically the Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT or in High Intensity Psychological Therapies.
  • Have experience working with individuals with mental health needs, preferably in a high-volume, performance-managed service.
  • Be an effective communicator, both in written and verbal communication.
  • Be able to manage a high caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
