About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Therapist for Community Mental Health to join our team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As an experienced therapist, you will work with older adults in mental health services, providing specialist input into our Care Home Pathway and contributing to service development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience in using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality OT assessments and interventions, as well as supervising more junior staff members. We offer a robust CPD program, including core competence training and supervision structure.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Your role will include working with two other occupational therapists, providing individual and group interventions, and supporting with duty.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also contribute to service development and project work, applying your knowledge of the impact of health and disability on occupational performance, participation, and identity. If you have experience in group facilitation, student placement support, or supervision, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills.
