Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient safety.
About the Role:
The Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Trust's patient safety team to ensure that we are providing safe and effective care to our patients. This will involve working closely with clinicians, managers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and present safety performance data to inform decision-making and drive improvement
- Develop and deliver training programs to support staff in understanding and implementing patient safety policies and procedures
- Work with the Compliance and Safety Lead to ensure that the Trust is compliant with relevant regulatory requirements and standards
- Support the preparation and coordination of inspections and reviews carried out by the Care Quality Commission and other external agencies
- Monitor and report on patient safety incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence
