Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator. This is a new role within our organisation, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise in patient safety and compliance to help us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Patient Safety Learning Response Lead in providing Trust-wide oversight of all types of patient safety learning responses. This will involve collating and presenting safety performance data, analysing themes and trends, and developing and delivering training relating to patient safety and compliance.
The role will also involve liaising and coordinating with external agencies, such as the Care Quality Commission, and overseeing and coordinating patient safety alerts. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and as part of a team, and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent experience in the safety and quality governance environment, with a focus on patient safety and clinical risk. You will also need to have knowledge of the serious incident framework and the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
