Accounts Administrator

The Best Connection is a leading provider of recruitment services, seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team based in the Nursling area of Southampton.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage client relationships, provide administrative support, and ensure seamless financial operations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £50 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. Benefits include 28 days' paid annual leave pro-rata, 24-hour on-call support, and access to ongoing training and development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, invoicing, and record-keeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations
- Liaise with the Operations Manager and Data Team to ensure smooth business operations
- Deal with client queries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements:
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar industry
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
