**Job Title:** Accounts Administrator Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Administrator Specialist to join our team at KBM Training & Recruitment. As an Accounts Administrator Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing VAT returns, reconciling accounts, and working with accountants in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare VAT returns for various businesses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile sales and purchase ledgers, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, maintaining accurate records and preventing errors.
  • Prepare final accounts up to trial balance stage, providing clear and concise financial information.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Work with accountants to finalize accounts, providing support and guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MICROSOFT OFFICE PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • TEAM WORK: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements:

  • PART QUALIFIED IN AAT: Part-qualified or fully qualified in AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians).
  • VT TRANSACTIONS KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of VT Transactions, a leading accounting software.
  • ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE EXPERIENCE: Experience working in an accountancy practice, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
