Nuclear Graduates is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Specialist. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work in the nuclear sector, providing technical support to ONR inspectors in managing, planning, and carrying out their regulatory duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, recording findings, analyzing data, and generating reports. They will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, regulators, and local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the regulation of nuclear sites from design and construction to operation and decommissioning
  • Monitoring the management and disposal of radioactive waste
  • Working on the processing of nuclear waste or handling radioactive materials

This role offers a comprehensive professional development programme, including a dedicated mentor, access to three secondments, and a flexible individual training budget of £3,500 per annum.
