Nuclear Leadership Opportunity

A leading nuclear research laboratory seeks an experienced professional to manage its Remote Engineering, Design and Robotics team. Based at NNL's Workington Laboratory, you will oversee the operational activities of the team, ensuring safe and successful delivery of customer work scopes and continuous improvement of team activities.

About the Role

You will be accountable for EHSS&Q within your team, responsible for all resources, including staff leadership, performance, availability, SQEP, competency review, development, technical training, progression and recruitment. You will also support budgetary control, measured against KPIs, and be accountable for all customer delivery associated with your team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience of working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with engineering design practices and procedures associated with nuclear engineering projects.
  • Experience of nuclear operations and understanding of nuclear safety and nuclear security culture.

We offer a competitive salary package (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum) and a range of benefits.
