Job Summary:

National Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capability Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of experts in the field of Remote Engineering, Design, and Robotics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading operational activities within the team, ensuring safe and successful delivery of customer work scopes and continuous improvement of team activities. A strong engineering background is essential, with experience in people management and the ability to provide guidance, coaching, and direction to team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experts in Remote Engineering, Design, and Robotics.
  • Coordinate and lead operational activities within the team.
  • Ensure safe and successful delivery of customer work scopes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of team activities.

Requirements:

  • A directly relevant science degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Line management experience.
  • Working to high quality standards in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
