Job Title: Relief Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and reliable Relief Support Worker to join our team at The Laurels, an award-winning care home in Carlisle.

About the Role:

As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
  • Encourage residents to engage in social activities and promote their physical and mental health.
  • Develop and maintain warm and trusting relationships with residents and their families.
  • Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 12 months' experience of supporting older adults with dementia. You must be a warm, caring, and trustworthy individual who is committed to the welfare of others.
