Join Our Care Team

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Relief Support Worker to join our team at The Laurels care home in Carlisle. As a key member of our care team, you will provide emotional and practical support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication, and nutrition.
  • Encourage residents to engage in social activities and promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and maintain warm and trusting relationships with residents, their families, and other care team members.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the care home by carrying out administrative tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience of supporting older adults with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents.
