Relief Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and reliable Relief Care Worker to join our team at The Laurels, an award-winning care home in Carlisle.

As a Relief Care Worker, you will provide emotional and practical support to our residents, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support to residents with varying needs
  • Encouraging social engagement and participation in activities
  • Developing and maintaining warm relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Assisting with household tasks, medication, and nutrition

This is a flexible Relief Support Worker position, allowing you to pick up shifts at times that suit you. Our Carlisle service is easily accessible by public transport, and we offer a range of benefits, including access to our free app for shift management and a weekly payment schedule.

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, and we welcome applications from candidates with a minimum of 12 months' experience supporting older adults with dementia.
