About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intranet Content Manager to join our team at Alvarez & Marsal. As a key member of our Operations business unit, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our global intranet, Connect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support country site owners in creating engaging homepage news content, researching, writing, and publishing articles that showcase our firm's expertise and achievements.
  • Take ownership of updating central EMEA pages, including business overviews and office guides, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaborate with site owners to ensure intranet content is presented clearly and concisely, providing guidance on UX and information architecture best practices.
  • Act as a Super User to support business units in updating their sites, setting up new sites and pages to meet individual service and business unit requirements.
  • Help site owners structure their content effectively using metadata and filters, ensuring easy navigation and search functionality.
  • Develop and maintain training, guideline, and governance documentation to support site owners in maintaining their content.
  • Conduct regular site audits, providing feedback and guidance to site owners on optimizing their information, such as deleting outdated documents, updating contacts, and reflecting changes in the business landscape.
  • Analyze analytics reports produced by our Data Analyst team to identify areas for improvement and enhance intranet usability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with our System Services team, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to our users.
  • Provide training and support to site owners on maintaining their content on the intranet, both in-person and via Teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as Communications, Marketing, or Information Technology.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of intranet management and digital communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint Online and O365 applications, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide training to site owners.
