Job Summary:
Burman Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Governance and Compliance Manager to lead the security assessment function for our client in the Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Framework that aligns with the business objectives and ensures regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance Framework, incorporating industry standards such as Cyber Essentials/Plus, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, and information security policies.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain appropriate documentation.
- Lead, manage, and develop a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst within your team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in governance, risk, and compliance management within an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
