Graduate Fire Engineer - Edinburgh

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our award-winning Fire Engineering team, delivering sustainable projects that benefit our communities, planet, and society.

Our Fire Engineering team has a reputation for delivering technically excellent work, from concept to construction. We optimize design and ensure complex buildings comply with regulations. Our team has extensive experience working on public sector, residential, commercial, industrial, and high hazard process construction projects.

We are looking for graduates with a passion for the built environment and a desire to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team focused on sustainability and technical excellence.

  • Fire Engineering design on various projects
  • Early-stage strategic input to design
  • Detailed design to construction status information and beyond into Post Occupancy Evaluation

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant BSc/ BEng/ MSc/ MEng or equivalent
  • A passion and talent for Fire Engineering
  • Confidence, outgoing personality, and a desire to be part of a busy team
  • Articulate communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and tenacity in concluding tasks
  • Drive, ambition, and a willingness to adapt to change
  • A commitment to Hydrock's values and ethos
